The sketch points to Black Knife Catacombs at the northeastern end of Liurnia's eastern road. It is guidance for Rogier's investigation rather than a key that opens the dungeon.

The Black Knifeprint itself is behind the hidden assassin fog. Ride the middle guillotine blade to the upper passage and strike the wall at its dead end; do not confuse this with the main Cemetery Shade boss route.

You can obtain the knifeprint without the clue. Missing Fia's sketch does not stop you entering the hidden boss room or collecting its reward.

Roundtable Hold

Starting Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace

  1. Meet Rogier in Stormveil's chapel and later speak to him on the balcony at Roundtable Hold after Godrick. Keep his investigation moving before entering Ranni's service if you want its full dialogue.
  2. Return to Stormveil and reach Liftside Chamber beside the soldier courtyard. Leave toward the courtyard, turn sharply right and find the dark drop beside the corpse hanging over the edge.
  3. Descend the visible ledges carefully and pass the rats into the lowest chamber. Watch for the Ulcerated Tree Spirit. At the far end, inspect Rogier's bloodstain beside the enormous face-shaped root; the talisman corpse nearby is a separate pickup.
  4. Return to Rogier and finish his dialogue about what you found. Then visit Fia in the bedroom beside Hewg, let her hold you and choose her private conversation about Rogier and the Black Knifeprint.
  5. Continue that conversation to receive Knifeprint Clue. Read it from the inventory to view the sketch pointing toward Black Knife Catacombs in northeastern Liurnia.

  • You can obtain the knifeprint without the clue. Missing Fia's sketch does not stop you entering the hidden boss room or collecting its reward.
  • Read it from the inventory rather than equipping it as a usable combat item. It does not create a permanent marker that replaces collecting Liurnia's map fragments.
  • Receiving Fia's embrace also gives Baldachin's Blessing, which lowers maximum HP while carried. Use that separate blessing and let its temporary effect end if you want to remove the penalty.
  • Rogier's investigation and Fia's later Cursemark of Death request are related story steps, but the clue is not required to obtain an ending rune.
