A quest item for Millicent. After helping her recover in Caelid with the Unalloyed Gold Needle, meet her north of Erdtree-Gazing Hill in Altus and give her this prosthesis.

It lets her continue to her later journey locations. Collecting it does not replace the earlier needle and healing steps, and it is not equipped on your own character.

This is separate from Millicent's Prosthesis, the talisman that raises Dexterity and rewards successive attacks. Giving her the arm does not immediately award that talisman.

In-game description

Golden prosthesis once used by the one-armed valkyrie.

A masterwork of craftsmanship, with practice and skill it can be used as proficiently as a real arm.

When Maleigh Marais, Lord of the Shaded Castle, embraced this prosthesis, he claimed to feel the presence of his personal goddess.

Altus Plateau

Starting Site of Grace: Shaded Castle Ramparts

  1. From Erdtree-Gazing Hill in Altus Plateau, ride east down into the valley, then follow it north between the cliffs. Stay on the lower ground rather than climbing toward Mt. Gelmir's campsites.
  2. Continue through the narrow gap until the Shaded Castle appears in its poison swamp. Use the rocks beside the broken southern wall to climb inside, then follow the wall right to Shaded Castle Ramparts grace.
  3. Drop into the lower courtyard and head toward the center, keeping out of the poison where you can. At the next open area, climb the ladder on the raised platform to the right, beside a Wraith Caller.
  4. At the top of the courtyard ladder, follow the rampart left toward the western side of the castle. Continue to the northwestern room guarded by a Cleanrot Knight rather than dropping through the gap toward Inner Gate.
  5. Draw the knight out or defeat it, then open the chest in its room for the prosthesis. Elemer is farther inside the castle and does not need to be defeated.

Notes

  • A quest item for Millicent. After helping her recover in Caelid with the Unalloyed Gold Needle, meet her north of Erdtree-Gazing Hill in Altus and give her this prosthesis.
  • It lets her continue to her later journey locations. Collecting it does not replace the earlier needle and healing steps, and it is not equipped on your own character.
  • This is separate from Millicent's Prosthesis, the talisman that raises Dexterity and rewards successive attacks. Giving her the arm does not immediately award that talisman.
  • You can collect it before Millicent reaches Altus and keep it until she is ready. Elemer's boss fight is not required.
  • Killing Millicent to obtain her talisman ends the assistance branch of her quest. Keep her alive if you intend to help her through the later choices.
