Work of a wandering artist. Reminiscence of a painting titled "Incursion."

This painter is said to have captured the landscapes seen during the last moments of those welcomed into death's embrace.

The soul of the painter, and vestiges of the dead's last moments can be discovered by visiting the location depicted even now.

Starting Site of Grace: Cliffroad Terminus

  1. From Three-Path Cross, take the western passage toward Belurat and Main Gate Cross. Before climbing into Belurat, turn onto the southeastern cliff trail with the bats.
  2. Follow the trail uphill to Cliffroad Terminus and activate the grace. Continue south and southeast past Prospect Town toward the woods at the far end of the plateau.
  3. Find the Artist's Shack on the raised rocky outcrop. Climb the rocks into the open shack and examine Incursion at its easel.
  4. The Bloodfiend gathering at the top of Prospect Town is a separate detour. You do not need to clear the town or fight a mausoleum boss for this painting.

  • From Three-Path Cross, head north across the road and follow the path beside the large tree. Continue north to Greatbridge, North on the right side of the path, without crossing Ellac Greatbridge toward Castle Ensis.
  • Head west toward the Ghostflame Dragon lake below Abandoned Ailing Village. Keep away from the sleeping dragon and cross around the shallow water toward the rocky rise on the far side.
  • Search the rise south and southwest of the lake for the seated spirit facing the natural stone arch. Approach and collect the shield after it disappears.
  • The dragon and Belurat's Dancing Lion are separate encounters. Neither needs to be defeated for this reward.
