About this item

A standing Birdseye Telescope gives an elevated view of the surrounding area. Rotate the view and zoom to follow roads, cliffs and landmarks before choosing a route.

Looking through it does not move you to the viewed location or supply its map fragment. You still need to travel there and collect the fragment separately.

This is a fixed outdoor telescope, separate from the portable Telescope sold by Kalé. Buying the portable tool does not install a standing viewpoint.

Standing Birdseye Telescope and Info tutorial

Limgrave

Starting Site of Grace: Agheel Lake North

  1. From Gatefront in Limgrave, follow the road southeast toward Agheel Lake North. Look beside the road for the fixed telescope with a little bird ornament and the telescope symbol on the map.
  2. Interact with the standing telescope to use its elevated view. The associated Info tutorial explains this feature; read it again from the inventory’s Info tab when it is present. There is no loose telescope item to collect from the ground here.

Notes

  • A standing Birdseye Telescope gives an elevated view of the surrounding area. Rotate the view and zoom to follow roads, cliffs and landmarks before choosing a route.
  • Looking through it does not move you to the viewed location or supply its map fragment. You still need to travel there and collect the fragment separately.
  • This is a fixed outdoor telescope, separate from the portable Telescope sold by Kalé. Buying the portable tool does not install a standing viewpoint.
  • The Info entry explains the controls and can be read again in the inventory. It is not an additional telescope to equip.
  • The standing telescope is reusable and costs no FP or consumable. Leave its view before returning to ordinary movement and combat.
  • It gives a viewpoint for planning, rather than unlocking fast travel, revealing every item or completing a map region.
  • Button prompts follow your control setup. Use the displayed look, zoom and exit controls rather than assuming one platform’s buttons apply to everyone.
