Duelist's Furled Finger places a red sign where you stand. A host who chooses that sign invites you into their world as an adversary.

Your objective is the Host of Fingers. This is a deliberate summon, rather than an invasion search that enters an eligible session without a red-sign invitation.

The finger is reusable and does not cost FP. Finding this tutorial does not spend or replace the multiplayer tool.

In-game description

Use Duelist's Furled Finger to write a red summon sign.

Competitive multiplayer will begin once you have been summoned by a player from another world.

You will take the role of an adversary (Duelist) and your objective is to defeat the Host of Fingers who summoned you.

Starting Site of Grace: Warmaster's Shack

  1. From Stormhill Shack, follow the road east to Warmaster's Shack. From there, ride north toward the large circular building against the northern cliffs.
  2. Recusant Henricus can invade near the entrance. Deal with the invasion if it appears, then approach the colosseum doors.
  3. Search the corpse beside the frustrated spirit outside the entrance. Duelist's Furled Finger and Small Red Effigy are picked up together. The arena's matchmaking effigy is a separate interaction inside.
  4. The introduction is awarded with the first relevant multiplayer tool. Read it again from the inventory's Info tab.
