Tarnished's Furled Finger places a gold sign for a host to summon you as a cooperator. The host normally uses a Furlcalling Finger Remedy to reveal available signs.

Follow the compass marker to keep track of the host. Your shared objective is the area's boss, and normal sessions have boundaries rather than letting you travel together across the whole map.

Normal multiplayer disables Torrent. A host can also be invaded while cooperators are present, so a gold sign does not guarantee an uninterrupted boss run.

In-game description

Use Tarnished's Furled Finger to write a gold summon sign.

Cooperative multiplayer will begin once you have been summoned by a player from another world.

You will take the role of an ally (Furled Finger) and your objective is to defeat the area boss.

The compass at the top of the screen indicates the direction of the summoner (Host of Fingers).

Starting Site of Grace: Stranded Graveyard

  1. From the room where you first wake up, use the main doorway and climb toward Stranded Graveyard grace. The drop beside the seated ghost leads to the optional combat tutorial instead.
  2. Search the corpse on the main exit route, before the lift that carries you outside to Limgrave. Collect Tarnished's Furled Finger and Finger Severer together.
  3. The introduction is awarded with the first relevant multiplayer tool. Read it again from the inventory's Info tab.

  • Follow the compass marker to keep track of the host. Your shared objective is the area's boss, and normal sessions have boundaries rather than letting you travel together across the whole map.
  • Normal multiplayer disables Torrent. A host can also be invaded while cooperators are present, so a gold sign does not guarantee an uninterrupted boss run.
  • Death, dismissal or completing the boss objective can end the visit. The reusable finger remains available when you return home.
