Touch the golden swirl to discover a grace, then rest to restore HP and FP, clear status ailments and refill the flask charges you currently have.

Most ordinary enemies return when you rest. Bosses and many unique enemies stay defeated, so a rest does not reset every encounter.

Discovering a grace gives you a checkpoint and, when travel is allowed, a map destination. Merely looking at a grace without touching it does not activate it.

In-game description

Resting at a site of grace will restore your HP, FP, and cleanse any status ailments.

It will also refill your sacred flasks.

However, most of the enemies you've defeated will be revived.

You can find sites of grace by going where light converges.

Starting Site of Grace: Stranded Graveyard

  1. Approach the first small swirl of golden light in Stranded Graveyard.
  2. Touch the grace to discover it and read the introduction. Rest there to open its menu.

  • Additional menu options appear as you unlock them. Leveling, crafting access and spirit tuning have their own requirements; reading this tutorial does not unlock every service.
