About this item

Open the map to see your position, discovered graces and the terrain you have revealed with map fragments.

A faint stele symbol on an unrevealed surface map can point to its fragment. Underground fragments may be on corpses instead of roadside monuments.

Place a beacon for a visible direction to follow, or a marker to remember a place. Neither reveals a hidden route or activates a grace.

Notes

  • Open the map to see your position, discovered graces and the terrain you have revealed with map fragments.
  • A faint stele symbol on an unrevealed surface map can point to its fragment. Underground fragments may be on corpses instead of roadside monuments.
  • Place a beacon for a visible direction to follow, or a marker to remember a place. Neither reveals a hidden route or activates a grace.
  • Switch between surface and underground layers when looking for the river regions. A drawn location can also sit above or below your current path, so its appearance does not prove you can reach it from the nearest cliff.
  • You cannot normally open the map while an enemy is actively threatening you. Move to safety before planning the next part of the route.
