About this item

Revered Spirit Ash can be found across the realm of shadow.

Consume this Ash at sites of grace to bolster your Revered Spirit Ash Blessing.

The Revered Spirit Ash Blessing bolsters both summoned spirits' and spectral steed's abilities to deal and negate damage but has no influence outside the realm of shadow.

First Revered Spirit Ash acquisition

Gravesite Plain

Starting Site of Grace: Scorched Ruins

1. From the starting plain, ride north to Scorched Ruins.
2. Head east to the cliff overlooking the Church of Consolation area and find the seated hornsent corpse at the altar beside the waterfall.
3. Collect the ash from its hands. This is separate from the nearby sparkling pot bearer's Scadutree Fragment.
4. Receiving your first Revered Spirit Ash introduces its blessing. Rest at a grace in the Realm of Shadow and open Shadow Realm Blessing to apply the upgrade.

Notes

• Spend Revered Spirit Ash through Shadow Realm Blessing at a grace in the Realm of Shadow. The material does not apply its bonus just by sitting in the inventory.
• The blessing improves summoned spirits' damage and damage negation, and reduces the damage Torrent takes. It does not directly increase your own attacks.
• The maximum is blessing level 10, with later levels requiring more materials. Some pickups contain several ashes, so a pickup marker and a blessing level are not the same quantity.
• Roderika's ordinary spirit upgrades remain separate and still use Grave or Ghost Glovewort. This blessing does not replace those upgrades.
• The benefit applies only in the Realm of Shadow. Scadutree Fragments improve your separate blessing and are not substitutes for these ashes.
