An ephemeral sliver that gives off a pale amber glow.

What remains of a passing flash of starlight.

If the stars command our fates, then amber-hued stars must command the fates of the gods. Such is the belief that inspired the use of these shards to prepare a most special draught.

Cannot be consumed by mere humans.

Altus Plateau

Starting Site of Grace: Altus Highway Junction

1. Reach Altus Plateau with both Dectus Medallion halves from Fort Haight and Fort Faroth, or defeat Magma Wyrm Makar at Ruin-Strewn Precipice. Activate Altus Highway Junction where the roads divide toward the capital and the northern plateau.
2. Follow the highway east from Altus Highway Junction. Before committing to the large capital staircase, take the northern branch and look for the narrow path turning north through a short rock tunnel.
3. Follow that tunnel into the enclosed hollow with Land Octopuses and Sacramental Buds. Collect Amber Starlight beneath the statue of Miquella and Malenia. The flowers around it are separate pickups.

Notes

• Seluvis asks for this during his secret scheme. Bring it to him before giving Ranni the Fingerslayer Blade.
• It is separate from ordinary Starlight Shards and cannot substitute for them when buying puppets.
• The reward for helping Seluvis reach this part of his plan includes the Magic Scorpion Charm. You do not have to give Ranni his later draught to keep that charm.
• This is a fixed key item rather than an FP-restoring consumable. Its amber color and separate inventory entry distinguish it from the ordinary blue Starlight Shards used for puppet purchases.
• Collecting it early does not commit you to betraying Ranni. You can obtain the charm from Seluvis and leave his later Amber Draught unused.
