Before you go

• 4,500 runes

1. Follow the Altus Plateau road toward the southern end of the broken Forest-Spanning Greatbridge.
2. Rest at the grace on the bridge and approach the merchant camped nearby. Stay on this end of the bridge, beside the grace.
3. Choose Purchase and buy the cookbook for 4,500 runes.

Notes

• Unlocks Lightning Pots and Roped Lightning Pots.
• The book unlocks its recipes without being equipped or consumed. You also need the Crafting Kit from Kalé at the Church of Elleh to use Item Crafting.
• You keep the book and its recipes in later Journeys. Its number identifies the contents rather than a required collection order.
• Lightning Pot: each craft makes 1, using 1 Mushroom and 1 Fulgurbloom.
• Roped Lightning Pot: each craft makes 1, using 1 Mushroom, 1 Fulgurbloom, and 1 String.
• Both recipes use a Cracked Pot. The container becomes available again after the crafted pot is thrown.
• The matching reusable containers are also required. Using a finished pot or perfume frees its container for another craft; the ingredients spent making it are not returned.
• Roped Lightning Pots are thrown behind you rather than aimed forward like the ordinary pot. Both use the same reusable Cracked Pot pool, so filling all containers with one type limits how many of the other you can prepare.
