In-game description

A record of crafting techniques left by the devout battlefield priests. These keepers of the faith fought bitterly to spread their gospel in the realm of shadow, where there was no Erdtree to gaze upon.

Acquire the knowledge to craft the following:

- Sunwarmth Stone

Where to find

Hidden room on the route to West Rampart

Shadow Keep

Starting Site of Grace: Storehouse, First Floor

  1. From the grace, take the lift on the left down into the keep's western rooms.
  2. Go right after leaving the lift and follow the corridor to the stairs leading down toward the jar infirmary.
  3. Before going down those stairs, take the narrow passage on the left. Strike the wall at its end to reveal the hidden room.
  4. Loot the corpse behind the wall for the cookbook.

Notes

  • Unlocks Sunwarmth Stones.
  • The book unlocks its recipes without being equipped or consumed. You also need the Crafting Kit from Kalé at the Church of Elleh to use Item Crafting.
  • You keep the book and its recipes in later Journeys. Its number identifies the contents rather than a required collection order.
  • Sunwarmth Stone: each craft makes 1, using 1 Spiritgrave Stone, 1 Black Pyrefly, and 1 Blessed Bone Shard.
  • Sunwarmth Stones restore HP to nearby characters and use FP. Their healing does not stack with another Sunwarmth Stone or a Warming Stone.
  • The healing area can also help nearby enemies. Place the stone where your allies can remain near it without giving the opponent the same recovery.
