Where to find
Lesser Runebears in Mistwood
Limgrave
Starting Site of Grace: Mistwood Outskirts
- From Mistwood Outskirts, follow the road south into the forest.
- Find one of the large Runebears and draw it away from other enemies before fighting.
- Defeat it and collect the Beast Blood drop.
- Return to the grace to reset the bear and repeat. The bear by the map monument is easy to locate, but its attacks are dangerous for a new character.
Notes
- Used in Dragonwound Grease, Beastlure Pots and Cursed-Blood Pots.
- Large Runebears in Mistwood provide a repeatable supply close to an early grace.
- This is an ingredient, so it is spent through Item Crafting rather than used directly as a buff.
- Do not confuse it with Albinauric Bloodclots, which are needed for different pot recipes.
- For Beastlure Pot, Cursed-Blood Pot, and Dragonwound Grease, use one per finished item.
- The Dragonwound Grease recipe also needs Root Resin and Gravel Stone. Beast Blood alone does not provide a reusable anti-dragon buff.
