The Crucible has a particularly strong influence on the beasts of the realm of shadow, causing many to grow horns despite the characteristics of their species.

Horned animals outside Viaduct Minor Tower

Ancient Ruins of Rauh

Starting Site of Grace: Viaduct Minor Tower

  1. Reach the upper Ancient Ruins of Rauh through Shadow Keep's West Rampart bridge.
  2. Activate Viaduct Minor Tower and search the nearby grass for horned deer and boars.
  3. Hunt those animals and collect their drops.
  4. Rest at the tower to reset the herd and repeat.

Notes

  • Used in Spritestones, Fire Spritestones, Lulling Branches, Charming Branches and Fingerprint Nostrum.
  • Horned animals in the Realm of Shadow can drop it. The drop is random.
  • This is different from Budding Horn, an ingredient found in the Lands Between.
  • The herd near the tower keeps the farming loop close to a grace.
  • For Lulling Branch, Fingerprint Nostrum, Spritestone, Fire Spritestone, and Charming Branch, use one per finished item.
  • This material is used in both Spritestone versions and in the two branch recipes. Keep it separate from Budding Horn, whose two cured-meat recipes have different ingredients and effects.
