Beastman of Farum Azula (Groveside Cave)
A lone Beastman guards the rear chamber of Groveside Cave, just north of the Church of Elleh. The wolves in the first cavern are separate enemies and can be cleared before starting the fight.

Starting Site of Grace: Groveside Cave
From the Church of Elleh, travel north through the woods toward Gatefront. Look for the cave entrance near the soldier's campfire in the cliff.
Enter Groveside Cave and activate the grace. Bring a light if you have trouble seeing the wolves and changes in floor height.
Work down through the wolf-filled cavern and take the passage to the boss fog.
Defeat the Beastman of Farum Azula for the talisman. This is the single Beastman in Limgrave, not the later pair in Dragonbarrow.
HP and damage negation

Notes
Defeating this Beastman gives the ordinary Flamedrake Talisman. The stronger talisman comes from the pair in Dragonbarrow Cave.
The lunging stab reaches farther than the early cleaver swings suggest. Keep watching him when you retreat to heal.
His long combination ends with a forceful downward strike. Let that finishing blow pass before committing to a counterattack; the middle of the combination is a poor time to trade hits.
He can be interrupted by sufficiently strong attacks, but do not keep swinging after your stamina is nearly empty. Save enough for the next dodge.
A Spirit Ash can divide his attention. Wait until he is actually facing the summon before taking time for a long cast or charged attack.
Fire attacks are a useful option here, including Fire Pots if you have the recipe and materials. Carry enough FP or another attack option so the fight does not depend on a single spell cast.
A light helps with the wolves and floor changes on the way in. The side pool contains crafting materials, not the boss entrance.
