Before you go

• Complete the exchange before their later moves.

1. From Three-Path Cross in Gravesite Plain, go west through the natural arch to Main Gate Cross outside Belurat and meet Moore. Follow the northeastern road across Ellac Greatbridge to Castle Front, then take the southeastern road to Pillar Path Cross to meet Thiollier.
2. Speak to Thiollier first, then return to Moore and finish the conversation that gives Black Syrup for Thiollier. Do these opening conversations before advancing their later companion quest states.
3. Accept Black Syrup from Moore, then return by Castle Front and the southeastern road to Thiollier at Pillar Path Cross. Choose the delivery dialogue to hand over the jar.

Notes

• A quest delivery, separate from ordinary consumable ingredients. It has no crafting recipe.
• Giving it to Thiollier opens the conversation about his concoction. Ask about the syrup and choose I'm weary of life if you want the concoction.
• The concoction supports the Dragon Communion Priestess's optional sleeping branch before Bayle.
• Collect and deliver the syrup early. Advancing the NPCs beyond their starting locations can close the exchange.
• The jar is delivered through dialogue and is not drunk or placed in a crafting recipe. Finish the exchange while both merchants are at their first locations, before progressing Thiollier toward St. Trina.
• Receiving the syrup does not put the priestess to sleep by itself. Deliver it, obtain the separate concoction and offer that to her at night before Bayle dies.
