Mohgwyn Palace

Starting Site of Grace: Palace Approach Ledge-Road

1. Obtain the right Haligtree Secret Medallion half from Albus in Village of the Albinaurics, beneath southwestern Liurnia's plateau. Follow the village path uphill past the perfumer, reveal the large pot before the bridge and speak to Albus. Stop attacking once he appears.
2. Obtain the left half from the rooftop beyond Commander Niall in Castle Sol. After defeating Niall, go through the exit behind his arena, ride the tower lift and collect the half beside the seated spirit. It is a separate pickup from his direct weapon reward.
3. Return to the Grand Lift of Rold and switch the action to Hoist secret medallion. Follow Hidden Path to the Haligtree through to the snowy exit. The ordinary Rold Medallion goes to the other part of the Mountaintops.
4. Activate Consecrated Snowfield grace near the exit. For Inner Consecrated Snowfield, continue north through the blizzard until the open ground becomes clearer; keep the grace as a safe return point.
5. From Inner Consecrated Snowfield, ride west toward the cliff northwest of Yelough Anix Ruins. Among the pale tree stumps, defeat the invading Sanguine Noble. This activates the nearby sending gate.
6. Continue west to the fallen tree near the cliff. Just south of it, find the blood-covered sending gate beside an Albinauric. Use the gate, leave the dark cave and follow the left-hand downhill trail to Palace Approach Ledge-Road grace.
7. From Palace Approach Ledge-Road, descend north past the Albinaurics toward the blood lake. Search the muddy ground and the corpse-covered edges for material pickups.
8. Collect in short trips and avoid the giant bloody crows and packs of dogs. Mohg does not have to be defeated for these materials.
9. Varre's Pureblood Knight's Medal offers an earlier alternative entrance to the palace. The Snowfield route above does not require completing his quest.

7. Descend toward the blood pools and draw out one of the giant bloody crows without pulling a pack of dogs.
8. Defeat the crow and collect its drops. The relevant blood-soaked crow variant has a 50% base chance at 100 Item Discovery.
9. Rest at Palace Approach Ledge-Road and repeat if you need more. Ordinary crows in Caelid do not all share this material drop.

Notes

• One is spent for each Swarm Pot or Roped Fly Pot. Both are unlocked by Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook (24), found in the lower blood-pool area of Mohgwyn Palace.
• These are Bleed buildup consumables. They are separate from the Poison-inflicting Fetid Pots made with Gold-Tinged Excrement.
• The roped version also needs String and is thrown behind you. Prepare the appropriate version for how you intend to use it rather than expecting identical throwing behavior.
• Giant bloody crows at Mohgwyn Palace provide a renewable supply. Their relevant base chance is 50% at 100 Item Discovery; a kill can still produce none.
• Fixed corpse bundles are separate from enemy drops. Resting resets the enemies, rather than refilling every body you have looted.
• Both finished pots use a Cracked Pot. The container becomes available again after use, while the excrement and other ingredients are consumed.
• This ingredient is neither Beast Blood nor the horn-strewn variety. Materials with similar names are not interchangeable in crafting.
