Brother Corhyn

Brother Corhyn teaches incantations and follows Goldmask in search of a perfect Golden Order. His travelling shop and their shared ending quest have separate rewards.

Starting Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace

  1. Enter the main chamber around the large table. Speak to the blindfolded man standing across from the fireplace.

Altus map monument

Altus Plateau · Altus search

When available: After he announces his departure.

  1. Follow the main road north from the grace to the map monument. Corhyn stands beside the roadside pillar.

Ashen Capital

Leyndell · Final search

When available: After Maliketh, depending on quest progress.

  1. Head south toward the ruined approach near the former West Capital Rampart. Speak to Corhyn, then rest and check his position again.
  2. If you offered the Tonic of Forgetfulness at the mountain bridge, check that bridge instead.

Quest steps

Quest steps can include different outcomes. Read the branch, conditions and cutoffs before making a choice.

  1. Find the travelling teacher

    Branch: Main quest

    After reaching Altus Plateau, speak to Corhyn at Roundtable Hold about leaving. Follow the road north from Altus Highway Junction to the map monument and speak to him there.

  2. Introduce Goldmask

    Branch: Main quest

    Use the waygate beside Forest-Spanning Greatbridge to reach the northern bridge section. Turn toward its broken southern end and speak to Goldmask. Tell Corhyn where he is, rest, then speak to the pair at the bridge.

  3. Follow them to the capital

    Branch: Main quest

    From West Capital Rampart, follow the walkway south beneath the large root. Climb toward the colosseum and take the narrow hillside trail doubling back beside the cliff. Speak to both characters on the slope.

  4. Learn Law of Regression

    Branch: Main quest

    Collect Golden Order Principia from the suspended chair above Erdtree Sanctuary. Give it to Corhyn or Miriel and buy Law of Regression. Memorize it, equip a sacred seal and reach its 37 Intelligence requirement, using temporary equipment if needed.

  5. Solve and report the secret

    Branch: Main quest

    Take the western lift below Erdtree Sanctuary to the statue of Radagon. Cast Law of Regression at the fixed floor message, read the new message, then tell Goldmask that Radagon is Marika. Finish Corhyn’s dialogue afterward.

    Progression cutoff: Complete the capital investigation before defeating Maliketh. Finish the Mountaintops meeting before using the Forge of the Giants to avoid leaving the quest behind.

  6. Meet them in the snow

    Branch: Main quest

    Find the pair on the bridge south of Stargazers’ Ruins. From Freezing Lake, travel west to the bridge southwest of Castle Sol, cross it, then follow the plateau toward the southeastern bridge. Finish both interactions.

  7. Collect the completed rune

    Branch: Main quest

    After defeating Maliketh, follow the lower path beneath the Royal Colosseum in the Ashen Capital. Collect Mending Rune of Perfect Order from Goldmask, then reload and return for his clothing.

  8. Optional tonic offer

    Branch: Optional dialogue

    At the mountain bridge, you may offer the Tonic of Forgetfulness obtained during Rya’s quest. Corhyn refuses it. This is optional for Goldmask’s rune and changes where you should look for Corhyn afterward.

Notes

  • Speak until dialogue repeats at each move. Seeing Goldmask without telling Corhyn does not introduce them.
  • Prayerbooks are handed to one teacher. You do not need to give Golden Order Principia specifically to Corhyn to solve the statue puzzle.
  • Law of Regression is an incantation with an Intelligence requirement. It still needs a sacred seal.
  • Do the capital puzzle while the Royal Capital exists. The later ash-covered city removes access to that step.
  • Offering the tonic is optional. It is not the item that creates the mending rune.
