This horn began to sprout on a beast that typically bears no horn. Perhaps it's a vestige of the primordial crucible.

Starting Site of Grace: Warmaster's Shack

1. Reach Warmaster's Shack on the Stormhill road.
2. Ride into the surrounding open fields and hunt the groups of rams.
3. Check their drops for Budding Horns, then continue to the next herd.
4. Return to the grace to respawn the animals and repeat.

Notes

• Used in Dappled Cured Meat and Dappled White Cured Meat.
• This is a rare animal drop, so most kills will give other materials or nothing.
• Herds of herbivorous animals offer a repeatable supply without a boss fight.
• Budding Horn and Beast Horn are different ingredients and cannot replace each other.
• For Dappled Cured Meat and Dappled White Cured Meat, use one per finished item.
• Dappled Cured Meat uses Sliver of Meat, while its white version uses White Flesh Strip. Both also need Golden Rowa and a Nascent Butterfly, so a horn is only one part of the craft.
