Starting Site of Grace: Stillwater Cave

  1. From Liurnia Lake Shore, ride southeast along the base of the cliff below Lake-Facing Cliffs. Look for two Spirit Jellyfish near the entrance at the southern end of the lake. Enter Stillwater Cave and activate its grace.
  2. Bring a light and Poison treatment. From the grace, follow the tunnel and keep to the upper ledge along the right wall. Avoid dropping into the giant flowers below, and watch for the bat and poison-casting Servant of Rot ahead.
  3. Jump the first gap to the ledge with two more Servants of Rot. The southeastern side tunnel beyond them leads to the bat chamber with the Sage clothing; skip that detour for the talisman.
  4. Continue around the large chamber along the left-hand wall, passing the Glowstone corpse and more bats. Jump the next gap to the west and follow the passage as it turns southeast.
  5. Descend into the narrow poison-filled stream. Follow it past the resting Servants of Rot to the boss fog; the corpse near the end has Poison Grease.
  6. Defeat the Cleanrot Knight for Winged Sword Insignia. Watch for the glowing spear grab, which can inflict Scarlet Rot, and use the drier edge of the arena when possible.

Notes

  • The reward is Winged Sword Insignia. The knight’s weapon and armor are not guaranteed rewards from this encounter.
  • Poison in the cave and Scarlet Rot from the glowing spear grab are different hazards. Bring treatment for the effects you are struggling with.
  • Use the drier edge of the arena where possible so poison buildup does not continue through every exchange.
  • The glowing spear is a warning to dodge the impale, rather than stay behind a shield and try to trade.
  • The Sage clothing is in an optional bat chamber earlier in the cave. It is separate from the final boss reward.
