In-game description
Eggs of large crabs which dwell in the shallows. Material used for crafting items.
A nutritious foodstuff that warms from within. The flavor is exquisite. Only those of comfort and means know the truth: a crab's eggs are more delectable than its meat.
Where to find
Giant crabs in southeastern Agheel Lake
Limgrave
Starting Site of Grace: Agheel Lake South
- From Agheel Lake South, ride northwest into the shallow southeastern corner of the lake.
- Approach the large crabs one at a time. More can emerge from the water as you move closer.
- Check the nearby corpse by the glowing scarab for a separate one-time bundle of eggs. Collecting that bundle does not replace the repeatable crab drops.
- Defeat them and collect their drops.
- Return to the grace to reset the crabs and repeat. Avoid drawing the lake's dragon into the fight.
Notes
- Used in Invigorating Cured Meat, Invigorating White Cured Meat and Thawfrost Boluses.
- Large crabs provide a repeatable enemy supply.
- Their broad claw sweeps can catch you while looting, so finish the nearby fight first.
- Crab Eggs are a crafting ingredient, separate from the Boiled Crab sold as a defensive consumable.
- For Thawfrost Boluses, Invigorating Cured Meat, and Invigorating White Cured Meat, use one per finished item.
- The cured meats raise Robustness, which helps against blood loss and Frostbite buildup. Thawfrost Boluses are the option for clearing frost buildup, so the three recipes serve different purposes.
