Crystalian (Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel)

A lone ringblade Crystalian guards the mine’s lowest chamber. Its hard outer shell is the main obstacle.

Before you go

Defeat the Crystalian in Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel.

Stay at lake level on the northeastern side of Liurnia and find the mine entrance in the cliff near the Walking Mausoleum. Take the entrance lift down and activate the grace.
In the first working area, the chest up the right-hand steps is optional. Take the other passage onward to the larger mining chamber and continue through to the room with a staircase in its middle.
Use the next lift to descend. Cross the narrow beam at the bottom, clearing the miners that could knock you off before you step onto it.
Follow the passage through the wooden enclosures guarded by Marionettes. The Crystal Knife chest is optional; the route continues past these rooms and down another staircase.
You will reach a chamber with miners and spellcasters. Clear the casters so you can move safely, then use the final lift to reach the boss doors.
Defeat the ringblade Crystalian to receive the bearing. A stance break cracks its initial protection, making the rest of the fight easier.
Give the bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold and check their main shop for the unlocked stock.

Notes

The reward is the first Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing. Give it to the Twin Maiden Husks to buy Smithing Stone [1] and Smithing Stone [2].
Use attacks that build stance damage to crack its exterior. Strike weapons are useful before the shell breaks; very low early damage does not mean the enemy is invulnerable.
Once the shell has cracked, the rest of the fight becomes easier to interrupt. Keep pressure when it is safe, rather than resetting your distance after every light hit.
The thrown ringblade returns. Avoid stepping into its return path while moving in after the initial throw.
This tunnel is on northeastern Liurnia’s lake shore. Academy Crystal Cave is a different dungeon with two Crystalians.
