Diallos

Diallos searches for his servant Lanya, joins Volcano Manor and later becomes Jarburg’s protector. His final village scene gives his mask and whip without an early murder.

  1. Speak to the finely dressed man about his missing servant Lanya.

  1. Speak to Diallos at Roundtable Hold about Lanya. In Liurnia, travel northwest from Academy Gate Town grace to the sunken rooftops and find him beside her body. Finish his dialogue, then speak to him again at the Hold.

Starting Site of Grace: Jarburg

  1. For Jarburg, approach the cliff south of Carian Study Hall on eastern Liurnia's plateau. Descend the large gravestones projecting from the cliff one at a time to the village below, rather than jumping straight down.
  2. Activate Jarburg grace and speak to Jar-Bairn, the small jar sitting on the house steps. Agree to become Potentate and keep returning after rest or travel to finish his changing dialogue. Do not attack the peaceful jars.
  3. When Jar-Bairn says Diallos has arrived, find him in the northeastern shack tending a jar. Speak to him and Jar-Bairn, then continue resting or reloading until the poacher attack changes the village.
  4. Speak to the dying Diallos on the village path. Either answer about defending the jars leads to the equipment reward. Reload and finish Jar-Bairn's scene beside him, then reload again.

Quest steps

Quest steps can include different outcomes. Read the branch, conditions and cutoffs before making a choice.

  1. Find Lanya

    Branch: Main quest

    Meet Diallos beside Lanya’s body near Academy Gate Town and finish his dialogue. Speak to him again at Roundtable Hold.

  2. Volcano Manor

    Branch: Main quest

    Join Tanith and speak to him in the drawing room. Return as the contracts progress until he becomes disillusioned and leaves. Rykard’s defeat can also move him onward.

  3. Introduce the new potentate

    Branch: Main quest

    Speak repeatedly to Jar-Bairn in Jarburg, resting or travelling between new conversations. When he announces Diallos’s arrival, find Diallos tending a jar in the northeastern shack.

  4. After the attack

    Branch: Main quest

    Continue the village conversations and reloads until the poacher attack occurs. Speak to the dying Diallos. Either response about protecting the jars allows the equipment reward.

  5. Collect his belongings

    Branch: Main quest

    Reload, finish Jar-Bairn’s scene beside him, then reload again and check Diallos’s former position.

Notes

  • Diallos and Juno are different members of the Hoslow family. Juno’s contract awards the full Hoslow armor, while Diallos has his own mask.
  • Do not attack Jarburg’s peaceful jars to move the story. That can turn the village hostile.
  • Alexander’s Innards are not required for Diallos’s mask or whip.
  • The poacher attack is a story change reached through dialogue and reloads. There is no on-screen battle you must win to save him.
  • Lanya is already dead when found. There is no rescue branch hidden in this meeting.
