Edgar the Revenger

Edgar the Revenger is the invasion stage of Castellan Edgar’s story. The fight takes place at a shack in western Liurnia after the tragedy at Castle Morne.

Starting Site of Grace: Revenger’s Shack

  1. Complete Edgar’s Castle Morne conversations, defeat Leonine and speak to him beside Irina’s body.
  2. Find Revenger’s Shack in the woods north of western Liurnia’s Minor Erdtree. Approach the shack to trigger the invasion.

Quest steps can include different outcomes. Read the branch, conditions and cutoffs before making a choice.

  1. Complete the earlier conversations

    Branch: Castellan Edgar continuation

    Deliver Irina’s Letter before Leonine, speak to Edgar after the boss and visit him beside Irina’s body.

  2. Defeat the invasion

    Branch: Castellan Edgar continuation

    Approach the shack and fight the invading Edgar. Collect his halberd and grape after victory.

Notes

  • This is a later encounter identity for Edgar, not an independent NPC quest to complete a second time.
  • If he has not moved, check his tower conversation after Leonine and his dialogue beside Irina before assuming the shack is broken.
  • A hostile NPC invasion does not require volunteering for player-versus-player invasions through Varré.
  • Take care with the halberd’s reach and follow-up swings. Wait for his sequence to finish before committing to a slow attack.
  • The shack and its nearby grace are in Liurnia. Irina’s body remains beside the Bridge of Sacrifice in Weeping Peninsula.
