Mainly found in Scadu Altus.

A remnant of Messmer’s flame, the symbol of the crusade, it continues to smolder as if crawling across the ground.

Starting Site of Grace: Moorth Ruins

Reach Moorth Ruins in Scadu Altus and activate its grace.
Cross the road west into the nearby army camp.
Defeat the Messmer Soldiers in small groups and check their drops for embers.
Return to the grace to reset the camp and repeat. Search the burned camp pickups while you are there as well.

These embers are different from the small butterflies gathered around the same burned camps.
For Fire Spritestone, use one per finished item.
For Hefty Furnace Pot, use two per finished item.
For Fire Coil, use three per finished item.
Fire Coils, Fire Spritestones and Hefty Furnace Pots are separate consumables. A Furnace Pot also needs a Furnace Visage, so the ember supply alone does not make that recipe cheap to repeat.
