The red shoots beside Miquella's Crosses are finite pickups in each journey. Resting does not restore a shoot you already gathered.

Some Realm of Shadow deer and ram variants can also drop it rarely. Those enemy drops provide a renewable alternative, but ordinary animals in other regions do not automatically share the same loot.

Said to burgeon forth from where the golden blood of Miquella, the wounded Empyrean, pooled.

Shoot beside Three-Path Cross

Gravesite Plain

Starting Site of Grace: Three-Path Cross

  1. To enter the Realm of Shadow, defeat Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, then touch the withered arm in Mohg's arena at Mohgwyn Palace.
  2. From Gravesite Plain grace, follow the road north past Scorched Ruins. Continue toward the pale tree and the golden cross at the three-way junction, then activate Three-Path Cross.
  3. Look on the ground immediately beside Miquella's golden cross and gather the small red shoot for Empyrean-Blood Burgeon. The nearby Scadutree Fragment and NPC conversations are separate interactions.

Shoot beside Moorth Ruins cross

Scadu Altus

Starting Site of Grace: Moorth Ruins

  1. To enter the Realm of Shadow, defeat Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, then touch the withered arm in Mohg's arena at Mohgwyn Palace.
  2. From Highroad Cross in Scadu Altus, follow the road east to Moorth Ruins and activate its grace beside Miquella's cross.
  3. Collect the Empyrean-Blood Burgeon growing beside that cross before exploring the ruined houses. You do not need to duel Dane or descend toward Bonny Village.

Notes

  • Used to craft Charming Branch. Each branch needs one Empyrean-Blood Burgeon, one Dewgem and one Beast Horn, plus the appropriate cookbook and Crafting Kit.
  • The red shoots beside Miquella's Crosses are finite pickups in each journey. Resting does not restore a shoot you already gathered.
  • Some Realm of Shadow deer and ram variants can also drop it rarely. Those enemy drops provide a renewable alternative, but ordinary animals in other regions do not automatically share the same loot.
  • It is separate from Nectarblood Burgeon. Charming Branch turns a susceptible enemy into an ally; Lulling Branch uses the other burgeon for personal FP recovery and Sleep buildup.
  • Collect the small shoot as well as the larger cross reward when you visit a new cross. You do not consume this raw material directly to charm an enemy.
