Erdtree Burial Watchdog (Wyndham Catacombs)
Wyndham’s Watchdog uses a lightning variant of the encounter. The flooded passages and rising floor on the way to the lever are separate hazards from the boss itself.

Starting Site of Grace: Erdtree-Gazing Hill
Before you go
Defeat the Erdtree Burial Watchdog in Wyndham Catacombs.
From Erdtree-Gazing Hill, climb north through Wyndham Ruins. Find the catacomb doors in the cliff behind the upper ruins.
Inside, pass the locked boss doors and take the lift down. Follow the blade-trap rooms into the flooded passages, then reach the ladder guarded by a Leyndell Knight.
Climb the ladder and continue beyond the optional imp-sealed treasure room. At the rising floor beneath the spiked ceiling, trigger the floor and use the side recess to avoid being crushed.
When the floor resets, cross to the passage on the far side. Deal with the enemies and pull the lever opening the boss doors. The other lever in the lower crab area only opens a shortcut.
Return to the entrance's boss doors and defeat the Erdtree Burial Watchdog for Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [1].

Notes
Defeat it for the first Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing, then give that bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks to buy the first three Grave Glovewort ranks without a stock limit.
Watch its lightning attacks instead of expecting only the fire breath used by earlier Watchdogs. Keep room to move sideways when it lines up a ranged attack.
Do not treat the end of a hovering slam as a guaranteed opening. It can rise for another landing before settling back down.
Strike damage is a useful way to attack its stone body. Greedy attacks during the stationary wind-up can still leave you unable to dodge the sudden release.
The optional imp-sealed treasure room is not required to unlock this boss. Save a key if the boss and bell bearing are your only goals.
The lever near the lower crabs opens a shortcut. The boss-door lever is beyond the rising-floor trap, so pulling the first lever you see does not finish the route.
The unlocked entrance doors give a short return to the arena. You do not need to repeat the flooded lower loop after every defeat.
