Before you go

• Reach Consecrated Snowfield

1. Obtain the right Haligtree Secret Medallion half from Albus in Village of the Albinaurics, beneath southwestern Liurnia's plateau. Follow the village path uphill past the perfumer, reveal the large pot before the bridge and speak to Albus. Stop attacking once he appears.
2. Obtain the left half from the rooftop beyond Commander Niall in Castle Sol. After defeating Niall, go through the exit behind his arena, ride the tower lift and collect the half beside the seated spirit. It is a separate pickup from his direct weapon reward.
3. Return to the Grand Lift of Rold and switch the action to Hoist secret medallion. Follow Hidden Path to the Haligtree through to the snowy exit. The ordinary Rold Medallion goes to the other part of the Mountaintops.
4. Activate Consecrated Snowfield grace near the exit. For Inner Consecrated Snowfield, continue north through the blizzard until the open ground becomes clearer; keep the grace as a safe return point.
5. From Inner Consecrated Snowfield, head southwest to Yelough Anix Ruins.
6. Search the low shrubs around the ruined buildings for the yellow fruit.
7. Gather in short trips and avoid the frenzied inhabitants and their madness attacks.

Starting Site of Grace: Inner Consecrated Snowfield

6. Fight the frenzied trolls one at a time and check their drops for the fruit.
7. Return to the grace to reset the trolls and repeat. Watch both their melee attacks and their madness flames.

Starting Site of Grace: Main Academy Gate

Before you go

• 1,500 runes
• Academy Glintstone Key

1. Collect the Academy Glintstone Key from behind the dragon west of Raya Lucaria, then use it at the academy's sealed entrance.
2. At Main Academy Gate, walk southeast past the blue seal without interacting with it. Activating the seal sends you away from this bridge route.
3. Follow the long bridge toward the seated merchant, watching for the wolves along the way.
4. Choose Purchase and buy his one Eye of Yelough for 1,500 runes. You do not need to kill the merchant, and his stock does not refill when you rest.

Notes

• Used in Clarifying Boluses, Clarifying Cured Meat and Clarifying White Cured Meat. Each recipe spends one fruit, together with its other ingredients.
• Clarifying Boluses reduce Madness buildup already on the meter. The cured meats instead raise Focus, the resistance to Madness and Sleep buildup.
• The recipes still need their cookbooks. Having the fruit does not automatically teach the boluses or either cured-meat recipe.
• Frenzied Trolls at Yelough Anix Ruins offer a renewable supply, with a 30% base drop chance at 100 Item Discovery. Ordinary trolls elsewhere do not all share that drop.
• The Isolated Merchant on Raya Lucaria's southern bridge sells one for 1,500 runes. This is a limited early alternative, rather than an unlimited shop.
• The fruit is not a Shabriri Grape and cannot substitute for one in Hyetta's quest. It is also an ingredient rather than a direct cure to use from the quick-item menu.
• Watch the Madness meter while collecting around the frenzied trolls. The ingredient's association with frenzy does not protect you from their flames.
