Before you go

To enter the Realm of Shadow, defeat Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, then touch the withered arm in Mohg's arena at Mohgwyn Palace.
Open the Hinterland passage with O Mother.

Collect O Mother from the corpse beside the headless statue north of Bonny Village.
Enter Shadow Keep from Church District Entrance, reached by the road north from Bonny Village. Jump across the roofs and use the large stone support to reach the church roof.
Drop through the roof opening onto the rafters, then onto the upper church corridor. Take the second passage on the left to the lift for Storehouse, Back Section.
Climb the ladder near that grace. Turn right upstairs and follow the shelves to the break in the outer wall. Use the outside ledge to reach Storehouse, Loft.
Ride the loft lift into the rafters, follow the beams toward the northern exit and take the outer descending lifts to Shadow Keep, Back Gate. This route does not require fighting Messmer.
Enter the small side room with Marika's statue and perform O Mother in front of it. Follow the revealed passage to Hinterland.
Follow the Hinterland road east past the Tree Sentinels and across Hinterland Bridge. Continue toward Fingerstone Hill; the Tree Sentinels and Commander Gaius are optional for this route.
From Fingerstone Hill, go north to the large crater above the Finger Ruins of Dheo. Descend into the crater and defeat the Fallingstar Beast to receive Gravitational Missile automatically.

Notes

Defeating it awards Gravitational Missile directly. You do not need to sound the Finger Ruins bell for this spell.
O Mother opens the route beside Shadow Keep, Back Gate. Messmer and Commander Gaius are unnecessary for the selected approach.
The Tree Sentinels along the Hinterland road can be passed. Their consumable rewards are separate from the spell.
Keep space from the pincers and wait for a completed attack before moving toward the head.
The crater is north of Fingerstone Hill, above the ruins. Following the downhill finger field takes you away from the beast.
