About this item

Festering Fingerprint Vyke near Church of Inhibition

Liurnia of the Lakes

Starting Site of Grace: Church of Inhibition

1. Reach Bellum Highway in northeastern Liurnia. From the road toward Grand Lift of Dectus, use the uphill path south of the lift to approach Frenzied Flame Village.
2. The tower's yellow flame builds Madness when it has line of sight. Move between rocks and solid walls during its active periods, or clear the enemies at the top of the tower to stop the effect.
3. Pass through the village and follow the rising path northwest toward Church of Inhibition. Festering Fingerprint Vyke invades on the approach and disables Torrent.
4. Reach the church grace if you need a nearby retry point, then defeat the invader. He awards Fingerprint Grape and Vyke's War Spear.
5. Return to Hyetta at Bellum Church after completing her three ordinary Shabriri Grape meetings. Give her this grape and finish her dialogue to advance her journey.

Notes

• Hyetta requests this at Bellum Church after receiving three ordinary Shabriri Grapes. It is a separate quest item, so having unused ordinary grapes does not meet this request.
• Festering Fingerprint Vyke awards it with Vyke's War Spear on the Church of Inhibition approach. Roundtable Knight Vyke in Lord Contender's Evergaol is a different encounter and does not drop this grape.
• The invasion is an NPC event and does not require online matchmaking. Torrent disappearing on the approach is a useful sign that the invasion has begun.
• Both the tower's flame and Vyke's frenzied attacks build Madness. Use cover from the tower and avoid trading repeatedly into his spear's fiery skill while the buildup bar is already high.
• Clearing the tower removes its surrounding environmental pressure, but does not defeat Vyke or award the grape. You must still win the invasion.
• Giving it to Hyetta advances her toward Frenzied Flame Proscription. The handover itself does not open the Three Fingers door, grant her seal or lock your ending.
• It cannot be eaten for a combat effect or substituted for other quest eyes. Finish the conversation at Bellum Church rather than looking for a Use command in the inventory.
