Prayerbook of the Fire Monks, who came from the Mountaintops of the Giants far to the north.

Can be given to a learned cleric to gain access to the following incantations:

- O, Flame!

- Surge, O Flame!

Starting Site of Grace: Scenic Isle

1. Reach Scenic Isle grace in southern Liurnia's lake, near the telescope on the raised island.
2. Ride south-southwest across the shallow water until you reach dry ground. Look for the fenced camp decorated with red cloth.
3. Approach carefully and draw the Fire Monks and their followers away from the central pickup. Their flames can make it difficult to stop and loot while several are attacking.
4. Search the body in the middle of the camp for Fire Monks' Prayerbook.
5. The Fire Spur Me gesture is another pickup in this camp, beside the burning bowls. Check that you collected the book as well.

Notes

• Unlocks O, Flame! and Surge, O Flame! for purchase.
• Give the prayerbook to Brother Corhyn or Miriel. Corhyn starts at Roundtable Hold and moves during his quest, so check where you last met him.
• Miriel stays at the Church of Vows on the raised ground in eastern Liurnia. From the Artist's Shack, follow the road north and take the uphill branch toward the church.
• Handing over the book opens new shop stock. Choose Purchase and spend runes on the spells; they are not learned for free or equipped automatically.
• Spells you have bought carry into later journeys. The book and its teaching unlock do not, so buy the spells you want before starting another journey.
• You do not need to travel to the Mountaintops of the Giants. These monks have a camp in southern Liurnia.
• The gesture and the prayerbook are separate rewards. Finding one does not automatically collect the other.
• These are incantations cast with a sacred seal, rather than sorceries cast with a staff.
• If the teacher later dies, their bell bearing can preserve spells already unlocked in that shop. The Twin Maiden Husks cannot receive a new scroll or prayerbook through a bearing.
• O, Flame! needs 16 Faith; Surge, O Flame! needs 9 Faith.
• O, Flame! is a short-range burst that can be charged. Surge, O Flame! is a maintained fire stream, so holding it keeps spending FP rather than paying only once for an entire stream.
• The book does not teach Flame, Grant Me Strength or Flame, Cleanse Me. Those are separate pickups, even though they also belong to the Fire Monks.
