Before you go

• Moore remains alive and friendly

1. Take the cliff road south from Main Gate Cross to Cliffroad Terminus and Prospect Town.
2. Search the small hill by the cliffs east of the town. Look for the lone pest outside the ruins.
3. Approach peacefully and talk to it for the cookbook.

Notes

• Unlocks Fireproof Pickled Liver.
• The book unlocks its recipes without being equipped or consumed. You also need the Crafting Kit from Kalé at the Church of Elleh to use Item Crafting.
• You keep the book and its recipes in later Journeys. Its number identifies the contents rather than a required collection order.
• Fireproof Pickled Liver: each craft makes 1, using 3 Rada Fruit, 1 Beast Liver, 1 Scorpion Liver, and 1 Black Pyrefly.
• These foragers are friendly. Talk to them instead of attacking them.
• Collect the brood books while Moore is alive and before choosing an answer that sends him away. Hurting the brood can make Moore hostile and block the remaining rewards.
• The recipe improves fire damage negation temporarily. It needs Rada Fruit, Beast Liver, Scorpion Liver and a Black Pyrefly.
• The recipe needs both Beast Liver and Scorpion Liver. Having one does not replace the other, even though both appear under liver ingredients.
• When Moore asks how he should move on after the charm breaks, leave that choice unanswered until you have collected the brood books. The charm breaking by itself is different from choosing an answer that makes him leave.
