1. Reach Bellum Church on northeastern Liurnia's Bellum Highway. Travel northeast toward the Grand Lift of Dectus, staying near the eastern cliffs until you find the uphill approach toward the Frenzy-Flaming Tower.
2. The tower builds Madness while it can see you. Move between rocks for cover and let the buildup fall before crossing exposed ground. Use Torrent and the spiritspring on the left of the tower to reach the higher ground behind it.
3. If the tower's repeated Madness is making the approach unsafe, enter its base and climb the ladders to defeat the frenzied figures at the top. Deal with the rats rather than trying to use a ladder while they bite you.
4. From the tower area, continue south-southeast to Frenzied Flame Village Outskirts grace behind the ledge. Activate it, then enter the village to the southwest.
5. Look in the open house in the middle of the village, near the first buildings on the approach. Clear the frenzied villagers inside and loot the charred corpse for Frenzied's Cookbook [1].
6. The uphill path toward Church of Inhibition and Vyke is a separate destination. No Frenzied Flame ending choice or Shabriri quest step is required for this book.

Notes

• Unlocks Clarifying Boluses.
• The book unlocks its recipes without being equipped or consumed. You also need the Crafting Kit from Kalé at the Church of Elleh to use Item Crafting.
• You keep the book and its recipes in later Journeys. Its number identifies the contents rather than a required collection order.
• Clarifying Boluses: each craft makes 1, using 2 Dewkissed Herba, 1 Crystal Cave Moss, and 1 Eye of Yelough.
• Clarifying Boluses reduce madness buildup. Use one before the buildup meter fills, rather than waiting for the damaging madness burst.
• The book can be collected without inheriting the Frenzied Flame. Clarifying Boluses help manage madness buildup; owning the recipe does not give passive protection from the tower.
• The book is on the corpse in the open middle house, not in the tower chest. The tower holds a different reward.
• The crafting recipe helps clear Madness buildup; it does not make you immune to the tower or let you reverse damage after Madness has already triggered.
