About this crafting material

Used in Hefty Rancor Pots. Each pot needs two blooms, three Whiteflesh Mushrooms and an empty Hefty Cracked Pot.

The recipe comes from Greater Potentate's Cookbook [14], behind the giant Miranda flower in the southwestern part of the hidden grave.

Look for the pale, ghostly flowers among the graves. The red flowers covering the surrounding field are not all harvestable Ghostflame Blooms.

Blossoms in the hidden grave of Charo.

Of a pair with another gravesite flower, the grave violet. All but incorporeal, it burns without so much as a sound.

Charo's Hidden Grave

Starting Site of Grace: Charo's Hidden Grave

  1. From Castle Front, follow the road southeast toward Pillar Path Waypoint. At the fork, use the lower road toward Igon rather than climbing to the Suppressing Pillar.
  2. Continue south-southwest past the broken dragon statues. An Ancient Dragon-Man invades along this approach. The cave entrance is on the left near the end of the path, marked by a fire.
  3. Activate Dragon's Pit grace and follow the lit passage down. Watch for skeletons below the first ledge and around the next corner. Strike their glowing remains after knocking them down to stop them getting back up.
  4. In the large cavern with the pillars, follow the left-hand ledge down and take the passage beside the distant crossbow skeleton. Continue onto the sloping stairs in the next chamber.
  5. Take the downward route toward the large altar and pit. The stairs going up lead to an optional Magma Wyrm; that fight is not needed to reach the exit.
  6. At the bottom, approach the message beside the deep chasm. Walk straight off this lowest ledge into the pit to land safely by the boss mist. Do not jump from the higher rooms or aim toward the side walls.
  7. Defeat the Ancient Dragon-Man behind the mist. Open the large doors at the back of the arena instead of using the return-to-entrance exit, then follow the tunnel to Dragon's Pit Terminus grace.
  8. Leave Dragon's Pit Terminus and descend to the lake bed with a Jagged Peak Drake. You can ride past the drake; follow the southern canyon toward the enormous dead dragon.
  9. Pass the dragon statues and emerge beside the ruined structure north of Grand Altar of Dragon Communion. The huge stone bowl and dead dragon identify the altar.
  10. At the altar, head west over the dead dragon and continue west-southwest toward the red flowers. This leads into the upper hidden grave, not the blue-flowered coast below.
  11. The entrance meets the lowest section of a shallow river. The river climbs northwest through several pools separated by small waterfalls.
  12. Continue northwest up the river past the Mariner pools. At the upper end, follow the red-flowered trail on the western bank to Charo's Hidden Grave grace.
  13. From the upper river, climb the eastern graveyard slope opposite the grace. Search around the large gravestones guarded by Beast Skeletons for the pale flower pickups.
  14. Another gathering area is beside the graves around the larger lake northwest through the stone arch. Stay close to the edge if avoiding the Death Rite Bird.
  15. For a separate four-flower corpse bundle, follow the lake's southwestern inlet to the giant Miranda flower, climb the slope behind it and jump to the shallow Hippopotamus pool. Loot the corpse in that pool.
  16. The four-flower corpse bundle is a one-time pickup. It is separate from the individual flowers growing near the graves.

Notes

  • Used in Hefty Rancor Pots. Each pot needs two blooms, three Whiteflesh Mushrooms and an empty Hefty Cracked Pot.
  • The recipe comes from Greater Potentate's Cookbook [14], behind the giant Miranda flower in the southwestern part of the hidden grave.
  • Look for the pale, ghostly flowers among the graves. The red flowers covering the surrounding field are not all harvestable Ghostflame Blooms.
  • The ordinary Rancor Pot uses Grave Violets and Human Bone Shards instead. Those ingredients cannot replace Ghostflame Blooms in the hefty recipe.
  • The growing patches, the four-flower corpse bundle and the cookbook are separate pickups. Collecting flowers does not unlock the recipe.
  • You can collect flowers without defeating the Tibia Mariner or Death Rite Bird. The enemies still make it dangerous to stop among the graves.
