Liurnia of the Lakes

Starting Site of Grace: Laskyar Ruins

1. Follow the southern lakeshore north from Liurnia Lake Shore until you reach Laskyar Ruins.
2. Activate the grace at the southern edge of the ruins.
3. Check the corpse immediately beside the grace and loot the book. You do not need to clear the ruined buildings.

Notes

• Unlocks Freezing Grease.
• The book unlocks its recipes without being equipped or consumed. You also need the Crafting Kit from Kalé at the Church of Elleh to use Item Crafting.
• You keep the book and its recipes in later Journeys. Its number identifies the contents rather than a required collection order.
• Freezing Grease: each craft makes 1, using 1 Root Resin and 1 Rimed Crystal Bud.
• Freezing Grease adds frost buildup to a compatible weapon with an affinity that allows coatings. It needs Root Resin and Rimed Crystal Buds.
• The recipe adds frost buildup rather than granting a Cold affinity. It does not add Intelligence scaling to the weapon or make every weapon eligible for grease.
