A record of crafting techniques left by a glintstone craftsman who served the academy.

Contains information on "faux sorceries," such as they were called.

Acquire the knowledge to craft the following:

- Albinauric Pot

Highway Lookout Tower

Liurnia of the Lakes

Starting Site of Grace: Liurnia Highway North

1. From Liurnia Highway North, look northwest for the stone tower on the hill. Follow the rising ground toward it rather than searching the lower lake shore.
2. A sorcerer at the top fires glintstone spells while spirit nobles appear around the approach. Use rocks for cover and get inside the tower before stopping to loot.
3. Climb the first ladder inside and open the chest on that level for the cookbook. It is below the rooftop, not the corpse beside the sorcerer.
4. Continuing up leads to the sorcerer and Carian Glintblade Staff. Those are separate from the cookbook chest, and no boss fight is needed.

Notes

• Unlocks Albinauric Pots. Each craft uses two Mushrooms and one Albinauric Bloodclot, plus an available Ritual Pot.
• The pot temporarily prevents a target from recovering through flasks. It does not stop every form of healing, so its main use is against opponents who actually drink flasks.
• Ritual Pots are reusable containers. Throwing a finished pot frees its container, but the Mushrooms and bloodclot are spent.
• The book works as a permanent recipe unlock once you own a Crafting Kit. It does not need to be equipped, consumed or collected after the earlier numbered books.
• The chest is on an interior floor of the tower. Carian Glintblade Staff is the separate rooftop pickup.
