In-game description

Fragment of bone with dun mottling.

Material used for crafting items.

Found by hunting Those Who Live in Death.

Lamentably brittle, it crumbles at the lightest caress.

Where to find

Celebrants just uphill from Windmill Village

Altus Plateau

Starting Site of Grace: Windmill Village

  1. Reach Windmill Village on northern Altus Plateau.
  2. Walk uphill from the grace to the first groups of dancing Celebrants.
  3. Defeat them in small groups and check their drops for bone shards.
  4. Return to the grace to reset the villagers and repeat. The Godskin Apostle farther uphill is not required.

Notes

  • Used in several lure and spirit-themed consumables, including Alluring Pots, Rancor Pots and Piquebone ammunition.
  • Celebrants and skeletons provide renewable enemy drops.
  • Fixed bone-shard pickups in the world do not respawn after resting.
  • When hunting skeletons instead, strike their glowing remains to stop them reviving.
  • For Rancor Pot, Grace Mimic, Scriptstone, and Call of Tibia, use one per finished item.
  • For Piquebone Bolt, use one per batch of five.
  • For Piquebone Arrow (Fletched) and Piquebone Arrow, use one per batch of ten.
  • For Alluring Pot, use five per finished item.
  • An Alluring Pot spends five shards, while a Piquebone ammunition craft uses one. That craft makes ten arrows or five bolts, so the same shard supply lasts very differently between recipes.
