In-game description

Furled finger of Igon, the broken drake warrior. Gnarled and knotty, and deeply discolored on the inside.

When facing Bayle the Dread, this summons Drake Warrior Igon from his sign.

"My soul yet lies on the mountain."

Where to find

Igon beside the path after the fighting drakes

Jagged Peak

Starting Site of Grace: Foot of the Jagged Peak

  1. From Castle Front, follow the road southeast toward Pillar Path Waypoint. At the fork, use the lower road toward Igon rather than climbing to the Suppressing Pillar.
  2. Continue south-southwest past the broken dragon statues. An Ancient Dragon-Man invades along this approach. The cave entrance is on the left near the end of the path, marked by a fire.
  3. Activate Dragon's Pit grace and follow the lit passage down. Watch for skeletons below the first ledge and around the next corner. Strike their glowing remains after knocking them down to stop them getting back up.
  4. In the large cavern with the pillars, follow the left-hand ledge down and take the passage beside the distant crossbow skeleton. Continue onto the sloping stairs in the next chamber.
  5. Take the downward route toward the large altar and pit. The stairs going up lead to an optional Magma Wyrm; that fight is not needed to reach the exit.
  6. At the bottom, approach the message beside the deep chasm. Walk straight off this lowest ledge into the pit to land safely by the boss mist. Do not jump from the higher rooms or aim toward the side walls.
  7. Defeat the Ancient Dragon-Man behind the mist. Open the large doors at the back of the arena instead of using the return-to-entrance exit, then follow the tunnel to Dragon's Pit Terminus grace.
  8. From Dragon's Pit Terminus, descend to the first drake's lake bed. Use the northeastern archway and follow the path uphill as it bends southeast. The drake fight is optional.
  9. Continue along the narrow cliff path until you reach a spiritspring on the east side. This is the first spiritspring on the ascent, before the bridge to Foot of the Jagged Peak.
  10. Use the spiritspring to jump east, then cross the bridge south-southeast and activate Foot of the Jagged Peak grace.
  11. Follow the southern uphill path over the rocks to the two fighting Jagged Peak Drakes. Defeat the hostile drake here rather than bypassing this fight as you could when simply climbing the mountain.
  12. Speak to Igon beside the onward path after the fight and finish his dialogue to receive the finger. You do not need to reach Senessax or the mountain summit before this conversation.

Notes

  • This reveals Igon's summon sign inside Bayle's arena, just beyond its entrance. It does not summon him by being used from the inventory.
  • Summoning him happens after you enter the arena, so move carefully while Bayle is attacking.
  • The finger is a quest item, separate from the multiplayer fingers used to join other players.
  • On the first attempt, move far enough into the arena for Bayle to arrive before looking for the sign just inside the entrance. On later attempts, it is available after entering the fog.
  • Using his sign does not increase Bayle's maximum HP. You can still use a Spirit Ash if the usual summoning conditions allow it.
  • His final equipment can be collected after Bayle even if you win without summoning him. Keep him alive through the finger conversation if you want his help in the fight.
