Before you go

• Complete Ranni's quest and report Blaidd's fate to Iji for this quest route.

1. Follow western Liurnia's road through Kingsrealm Ruins. Strike or roll through the false wall at its northern end to reach Road to the Manor and Iji's anvil.
2. Complete Ranni's quest through the Cathedral of Manus Celes, then return to Ranni's Rise and resolve the hostile encounter with Blaidd outside.
3. Return to Iji and tell him about Blaidd. Finish his dialogue, rest or reload, then return to his anvil.
4. Loot Iji's remains for the bearing and offer it to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold.

Notes

• Transfers Iji's somber stone stock. The first two ranks are unlimited, while his third and fourth ranks have limited stock.
• Carian Filigreed Crest is available through the bearing if its special shop stock was unlocked before Iji died.
• Unlock the crest by reporting Blaidd's recommendation after Darriwil, or by entering Ranni's service and speaking to her servants.
• Killing Iji early also gives his bearing, but removes his living dialogue and service. The quest route lets you finish his part in the story first.
• The bearing provides his shop, not a replacement blacksmith. Reinforce your weapons through Hewg or another available smithing service.
• His unlimited Somber Smithing Stone [1] costs 2,000 runes and Somber Smithing Stone [2] costs 3,000. Somber Smithing Stone [3] costs 4,000 runes and Somber Smithing Stone [4] costs 6,000, with only three of each in his original stock. Buying them before his death reduces what remains in the transferred shop.
