Jarwight

Jarwight is a puppet fighter who attacks with thrown pots. Obtaining him is part of Seluvis’s puppet shop rather than a separate living NPC quest.

Starting Site of Grace: Ranni’s Rise

  1. Leave Loretta's arena through the northern exit into Three Sisters. Visit Ranni's Rise to the west, agree to serve her, speak to the projections downstairs and speak to Ranni again before leaving.
  2. Visit Seluvis's Rise south of Ranni's tower and accept the potion task. Keep Ranni's Fingerslayer Blade handover for after any puppet purchases you still need.
  3. To preserve Nepheli's quest, give the potion to Gideon at Roundtable Hold for disposal. Report back to Seluvis and finish his dialogue; the shop sequence still proceeds.
  4. In the ruins northeast of Ranni's Rise, strike or roll over the illusory floor to reveal stairs. Descend, read the message beside the puppets and examine the workshop.
  5. Return to Seluvis and ask about his chambers. Take the offered initial puppet. To buy another, leave and return with enough Starlight Shards, then ask for a new puppet; if that dialogue has not appeared, collect another shard and reload the area.
  6. Starlight Shards are the payment, so keep them instead of consuming them for FP. Arrange the required listing before giving Ranni the Fingerslayer Blade.
  7. Choose Jarwight as the free puppet, or buy him for three Starlight Shards if you chose another first.

Quest steps can include different outcomes. Read the branch, conditions and cutoffs before making a choice.

  1. Find the workshop

    Branch: Main quest

    Join Ranni and speak to Seluvis at his tower. In the ruins northeast of Ranni’s Rise, reveal the illusory floor, descend and inspect the puppet room and message.

  2. Ask Seluvis about it

    Branch: Main quest

    Complete or dispose of Seluvis’s Potion, report to him and ask about his chambers. Choose an offered puppet. Give the potion to Gideon if preserving Nepheli’s normal story.

  3. Open further purchases

    Branch: Main quest

    Return with Starlight Shards and ask for another puppet. If the dialogue has not appeared, obtain another shard and reload before checking again.

    Progression cutoff: Arrange the required puppet listings before handing Ranni the Fingerslayer Blade.

Notes

  • His throwing pots are part of the summon’s behavior. You do not supply individual pots from your inventory.
  • His puppet can be obtained without sacrificing Nepheli by disposing of Seluvis’s Potion through Gideon.
  • The hidden workshop is beneath the ruins in Three Sisters, not beneath Seluvis’s tower itself.
  • Arrange his shop access before progressing Ranni’s blade handover.
