Kenneth Haight asks you to retake his fort in eastern Limgrave. His search for a ruler later joins Nepheli’s story at Stormveil.

From Mistwood Outskirts, follow the road northeast to the broken stone structure above the road. Climb onto it and speak to Kenneth Haight, who is calling for help. Agree to retake his fort.

When available: After reporting the fort cleared and accepting his service offer.

Starting Site of Grace: Fort Haight West

From Fort Haight West, approach the fort on the coastal hill and climb through its courtyard to the upper walls.
After clearing the knight and reporting back, return to find Kenneth at the fort. Speak until he explains that he needs a worthy ruler.

Stormveil Castle · A new ruler

When available: After the shared Nepheli quest reaches its throne-room conclusion.

Starting Site of Grace: Godrick the Grafted

Travel to Godrick the Grafted grace after completing the required conversations and defeating Morgott.
Rest at the grace, then walk through the northern doorway into Stormveil’s throne room. If the characters have not moved, finish their remaining dialogue and rest again rather than only selecting fast travel.

Quest steps can include different outcomes. Read the branch, conditions and cutoffs before making a choice.

Climb the broken ruin north of Mistwood and speak to Kenneth. Agree to clear Fort Haight.
Retake Fort Haight
Branch: Main quest
Travel southeast through Mistwood to the fort and defeat the knight on its upper rampart. Return to Kenneth at the broken ruin for Erdsteel Dagger.
Pledge service
Branch: Main quest
Accept his offer of service and meet him back at the fort. If you refused, speak again to reconsider. Finish his conversation about finding a worthy lord.
Help Nepheli
Branch: Main quest
Keep Nepheli alive, avoid giving her Seluvis’s Potion and give her The Stormhawk King during her later Roundtable stage. Defeat Morgott and revisit Stormveil’s throne room.
Finish the shared scene
Branch: Main quest
Speak to Kenneth beside Nepheli in the throne room. Her smithing-stone gift and Gostoc’s optional purchase are separate from Kenneth’s dagger reward.

Golden Seed	Dropped if Kenneth is killed.	This ends his own story. It is an alternative death drop rather than a reward for serving him.

The knight on the rampart is the target of his request. The medallion chest in the fort’s tower is a separate pickup.
He does not grant a usable knighthood item when you meet him at the fort. His search for a ruler is the next part of the story.
Agreeing to serve Kenneth does not commit you to an ending or prevent joining Ranni or Volcano Manor.
Nepheli’s throne-room gift comes from Nepheli. Gostoc sells the additional stone only if he survives to that stage.
