Starting Site of Grace: Rose Church

1. Defeat a Shardbearer such as Godrick, then speak to Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold.
2. Find Varre at Rose Church on an island southwest of Raya Lucaria Academy in Liurnia. Tell him the Two Fingers did not seem right and receive his Festering Bloody Fingers.
3. Attempt three player invasions, or use the red invasion sign at Writheblood Ruins in Altus Plateau to defeat Magnus the Beast Claw. Defeating Magnus once satisfies this stage without online play.
4. Return to Varre and accept the anointing to receive Lord of Blood's Favor.
5. For maiden's blood without killing a friendly NPC, go to the Church of Inhibition in northeastern Liurnia. Follow the uphill route past Frenzied Flame Village, take cover from the tower's Madness and deal with Vyke if he invades.
6. Interact with the dead maiden seated inside the church to stain the favor. Return to Varre at Rose Church and agree to offer your finger.
7. The cloth is now stained with maiden blood. Return to Varre at Rose Church and show it to him to continue the oath and receive his finger ritual rewards.

Notes

• The red version is the oath-cloth after it has been soaked in a maiden's blood. Varre first hands you its unstained version; receiving that blank cloth does not finish the blood trial.
• Interact with the dead maiden inside Church of Inhibition to stain the cloth without killing a friendly NPC. The tower's Madness and Vyke's invasion affect the approach, not whether the seated maiden can supply the blood.
• The dead maiden inside Chapel of Anticipation is another option. Reach it through the Precipice of Anticipation sending gate at The Four Belfries with an Imbued Sword Key, then get past the Grafted Scion.
• Killing Irina or Hyetta is unnecessary for the trial and removes their later interactions. Ordinary enemies' blood and bloodstains on the ground do not replace the maiden interaction.
• Return the stained cloth to Varre at Rose Church, agree to the finger ritual and keep speaking after receiving Bloody Finger. His next reward is Pureblood Knight's Medal.
• The earlier invasion stage needs three player-invasion attempts, not three wins. Alternatively, defeating Magnus the Beast Claw once through his red sign at Writheblood Ruins completes that stage offline.
• The favor is a quest object, not a reusable invasion tool or a weapon coating. Bloody Finger performs the reusable invasions, while the medal opens the early route to Mohgwyn Palace.
• Killing Varre before these handovers ends his normal reward route. Church of Vows absolution does not bring him back to finish the oath.
