A single Pumpkin Head guards the cellar door leading to Sellen’s sorcery shop.

Starting Site of Grace: Waypoint Ruins Cellar
Follow the road along the eastern side of Agheel Lake to Waypoint Ruins. The ruins are filled with poisonous flowers; look among the stone walls for the stairs into the cellar.
Go down and defeat Mad Pumpkin Head. His helmet blocks many frontal hits, so try to get around his side rather than repeatedly hitting the metal head.
Open the door at the back of the arena, speak to Sellen and agree to study sorcery. Her shop is here, rather than at her chained body in Witchbane Ruins.
Buy Crystal Barrage for 1,500 runes. No scroll is needed. If Sellen later dies, her Bell Bearing can transfer the unpurchased spell to the Twin Maiden Husks.

Defeating him opens access to Sellen. The spells in her shop must still be purchased; Crystal Barrage is not a boss drop.
His large helmet protects the head. Aim for the body or move around his side instead of repeatedly striking the metal.
Watch for the faster head slam between the slower weapon swings. A lowered head can also block an attack aimed from the front.
The poisonous flowers above the stairs are separate enemies. You do not need to clear the entire surface ruin to enter the cellar.
Open the door at the back after the fight and speak to Sellen. Her chained body at Witchbane Ruins is a different location.
