About this item

Map of Altus Plateau and environs.

The Altus Plateau, where the Erdtree's base can be found, contains the Royal Capital of Leyndell to the east, and Mt. Gelmir to the west. Scars from the Shattering remain apparent to this day.

Stele north of Altus Highway Junction

Altus Plateau

Starting Site of Grace: Altus Highway Junction

1. Reach Altus Plateau through the Grand Lift of Dectus or the Ruin-Strewn Precipice route.
2. Follow the road to Altus Highway Junction, then take the northern branch uphill.
3. Collect the map beneath the stele beside that road. The great stairs east toward the capital lead to a different map fragment.

Notes

• Reveals the drawn terrain when collected. It does not activate undiscovered graces, mark every item or complete the area for you.
• You do not equip or consume the fragment to view it. Open the map after the pickup, and place your own markers for routes you want to follow.
• Reveals Altus Plateau between Mt. Gelmir and the capital. Those two regions have separate fragments.
• The stele is on the northbound branch at Altus Highway Junction. Taking the broad eastern stairs instead leads toward the capital's fragment.
• Look for the small stele symbol on the blank map as you approach. It marks the map pickup, rather than a checkpoint you can rest at.
