Mt. Gelmir, which houses the Volcano Manor at its summit, is characterized by sheer cliffs and ominous skies. These qualities only became more pronounced after the Shattering.

Mt. Gelmir

Starting Site of Grace: Road of Iniquity

1. Reach Altus Plateau with both Dectus Medallion halves, from Fort Haight and Fort Faroth, or by climbing Ruin-Strewn Precipice and defeating Magma Wyrm Makar.
2. Follow the road north from Altus Highway Junction, past the map monument, to Forest-Spanning Greatbridge grace. Use the waygate beside the grace to cross to the northern end of the broken bridge.
3. Follow the northern Altus road west and cross the wooden bridge to Bridge of Iniquity.
4. Continue northwest along the lower road. Near the two Abductor Virgins, hug the left cliff and find the ladder between two torches. Climb and turn left to First Mt. Gelmir Campsite.
5. Head northwest past the watchtower, cross the rocks and climb the ladder by the Grafted Scion. At the next ladder fork, either side continues upward; the left passes a merchant.
6. Finish the ladder climb and cross the western rope bridge to Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite. Use its spiritspring to reach the crater above.
7. Ride around the Fallingstar Beast to the projecting rock on the crater's western side. Follow it out and drop onto the ground below.
8. Approach Volcano Manor, then take the right-hand road downhill instead of the left branch to its door. Collect the map at the stele before the hanging bodies, watching for the giant hand.
9. Continue a short distance to Road of Iniquity grace. No manor contract or boss reward is involved.

Notes

• Collecting the fragment fills in this region's drawn terrain automatically. There is no separate equip slot or consume step to activate it.
• The drawing does not activate undiscovered Sites of Grace, collect items or remove barriers. Add your own markers for places you want to revisit.
• A landmark appearing close on the map can be far above or below you. The fragment is useful for navigation, but does not make a cliff or sealed passage traversable.
• The stele is below the approach to Volcano Manor, west of Road of Iniquity. Road of Iniquity Side Path beneath the northern Altus bridge is a different grace.
• The outdoor route does not require joining Volcano Manor, defeating Rykard or killing the Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast.
• If Rya has already taken you to the manor, you can leave through its front entrance and follow the descending road toward the map instead of repeating the mountain climb.
• Watch for the giant hand near the map and activate nearby Road of Iniquity after collecting it. The map itself is not a checkpoint.
