The man it came from surely desired one. The sole means of gaining entry into the academy: a glintstone key.

Starting Site of Grace: South Raya Lucaria Gate

1. Cross the flooded Academy Gate Town toward the raised southern approach to Raya Lucaria. Follow the broken road uphill to the blue-sealed academy entrance rather than staying among the submerged houses.
2. Activate South Raya Lucaria Gate grace. Loot the slumped corpse beside the blue seal for Meeting Place Map; you can reach this side before finding the academy key.
3. Open the map in your inventory and compare the sketch with the islands west of the academy. It points to Smarag's rocky island north of Temple Quarter.
4. Ride north from Temple Quarter, circle behind the resting dragon and loot the sorcerer's corpse for Academy Glintstone Key. Leave without fighting if you only want access, then return to the seal with the key.

Notes

• A clue map showing where to find the first Academy Glintstone Key. Its destination is the rocky island north of Temple Quarter, behind Glintstone Dragon Smarag.
• The key is on a corpse, rather than awarded for killing the dragon. Defeating Smarag is optional for entering the academy.
• The map itself does not break the blue seal or reveal the region's terrain. It is separate from Liurnia's map fragments and the key you need to carry.
• You can collect the key before reading this clue. The map is helpful directions, rather than a quest flag required to make the key appear.
• It points to the outside access key, not the spare on the Church of the Cuckoo chandelier. That later spare belongs to Thops's quest.
