About this item

Message left by Needle Knight Leda, addressed to kindred spirits who also pursue Miquella's trail.

"Dane passed on a message... The sealing tree is in the ancient ruins of Rauh. It lies beyond the high bridge leading from the first floor of the storehouse. I will join you there, once I have finished the task at hand."

Later message at Highroad Cross

Scadu Altus

Starting Site of Grace: Highroad Cross

1. After defeating Messmer in Shadow Keep, return to Highroad Cross in Scadu Altus, immediately beyond Castle Ensis's northern exit.
2. Search the meeting area beside the cross where Leda and Hornsent previously stood. Collect Message from Leda from the ground.
3. Read it in the Info inventory for the clue toward the upper Rauh ruins. Do not confuse it with Dane's separate message or the earlier letter at Castle Ensis Checkpoint.

Notes

• This later message directs you to the Sealing Tree in the upper Ancient Ruins of Rauh. It is separate from Castle Cross Message in Castle Ensis and Tower of Shadow Message above Belurat.
• The indicated bridge leaves Shadow Keep from the Storehouse's first floor. It reaches the upper ruins through West Rampart; the cave north of Moorth Ruins leads to the lower Rauh Base valley instead.
• Messmer's Kindling is the item used on the tree after Romina. Reading this message neither supplies the kindling nor burns the tree automatically.
• Finish desired follower dialogue and assistance choices before burning the Sealing Tree. Picking up the message is not itself the same irreversible story step.
• Leda's promise to join the route does not make her a freely available summon for every nearby boss. Her later encounter and the other followers' outcomes still depend on their quests.
• Read it in the inventory's Info tab. It does not need to be equipped to provide its clue.
