Moore
Moore is the merchant at Main Gate Cross and a friend of the Forager Brood. His deliveries, cookbook gift and response to the broken charm create several different endings.
From Three-Path Cross, follow the road west through the natural rock passage toward Belurat.
Stop at Main Gate Cross before the settlement stairs. Moore sits with his supplies beside Ansbach.
Cliffs north of Church of the Crusade
Scadu Altus · Sadness outcome
When available: After choosing Remain sad forever.
Starting Site of Grace: Church of the Crusade
From Highroad Cross, take the northwestern route to Church of the Crusade.
Search the nearby cliffs north of the church beside the injured forager’s position. Moore’s body can appear here after the sadness choice and a reload.
Quest steps
Quest steps can include different outcomes. Read the branch, conditions and cutoffs before making a choice.
Meet Moore
Branch: Main quest
Speak at Main Gate Cross and open his shop. Keep the friendly Forager Brood alive as you explore.
Arrange the syrup delivery
Branch: Optional delivery
Meet Thiollier at Pillar Path Cross, then return to Moore and ask to talk. Take Black Syrup to Thiollier and finish the concoction conversation before sending him to St. Trina.
Progression cutoff: Complete the early exchange before advancing their departures; collecting it before approaching Shadow Keep is the safest order.
Heal the injured forager
Branch: Main quest
Find the shivering brood north of Church of the Crusade. Place a Warming Stone or Sunwarmth Stone beside it, reload and speak to the recovered forager for Cookbook [4].
Claim the seventh cookbook
Branch: Main quest
Return to Moore after the healing and fourth cookbook. Choose his talk option for Forager Brood Cookbook [7]. Collect his gifts before choosing a departure answer.
Postpone the decision
Branch: Keep Moore at the camp
After the charm breaks, answer I don’t know if you want more time. Leave the choice unresolved and keep the brood alive to preserve his camp presence.
Encourage him to move on
Branch: Put it behind you
Choosing Put it behind you makes him join Leda’s later group in Enir-Ilim. Defeat that encounter and loot his body for the Verdigris equipment and bearing.
Choose the sadness answer
Branch: Remain sad forever
Choosing Remain sad forever sends him to the cliffs north of Church of the Crusade. Reload and collect his equipment there. This is a fatal quest outcome.
Harm the brood
Branch: Retaliation outcome
Killing the friendly foragers can bring Moore’s warning and retaliation invasion. Defeating him ends his quest and risks any gifts you have not collected.

Details
Black Syrup
Speak after meeting Thiollier while the early delivery is available.
Deliver it for the concoction conversation; it is not a drink for your own use.
Forager Brood Cookbook [7]
Heal the injured forager and receive its fourth cookbook, then speak to Moore.
You do not need to collect every other brood book first.
Verdigris Greatshield, Verdigris set and Moore’s Bell Bearing
Collect after his chosen fatal outcome or hostile defeat.
Keeping him alive at the camp does not also award his death equipment.
Notes
Collect the brood cookbooks before sending Moore away. His departure and the brood’s availability affect rewards beyond his own armor.
I don’t know postpones the answer. It is not an instruction to kill the brood, and it does not automatically award his gear.
The Black Syrup exchange connects to the Dragon Communion Priestess’s alternate outcome. Keep the concoction if you want that choice.
His personal bearing transfers shop stock. It does not restore missed gifts, reopen the syrup dialogue or revive friendly foragers.
The post-charm question and burning the Sealing Tree are separate events. Finish desired camp gifts and companion choices before advancing the later story.
He can remain alive at his camp after the final battle if his decision stays unresolved and you preserve the peaceful branch.
