Nepheli Loux

Nepheli is a warrior investigating Stormveil for Gideon. Her later loss of purpose can lead either to a new role in Limgrave or to Seluvis’s puppet branch.

Locations and access

Side room off the final courtyard

Stormveil Castle · Before Godrick

When available: Speak before defeating Godrick if you want her early Arsenal Charm.

Starting Site of Grace: Secluded Cell

  1. Before fighting Godrick, look for Nepheli in the side room off the castle's final courtyard, on the approach to Secluded Cell. She is standing over a fallen knight. Speak to her until she offers to help with Godrick.

Outside Gideon’s study

Roundtable Hold · First Hold reward

When available: After Godrick and the earlier Stormveil conversation.

Starting Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace

  1. Return to Roundtable Hold and speak to Gideon. Nepheli will not appear for this reward until you have spoken to him. Find her just outside his study, along the passage toward the Twin Maiden Husks.
  2. Talk to her there and she will give you the Arsenal Charm she found in Stormveil.

Village of the Albinaurics approach

Liurnia of the Lakes · Village investigation

When available: During her village investigation.

Starting Site of Grace: Village of the Albinaurics

  1. Enter the dark valley beneath the southwestern Liurnia cliffs. Follow the sloping path into the Village of the Albinaurics.
  2. Find Nepheli on the approach below the village, finish her conversation and defeat the Omenkiller at the far end of the settlement.

Roundtable Hold · After Gideon’s rejection

When available: After the village stage.

Starting Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace

  1. Return to the Hold after the village events and speak to Gideon about Nepheli.
  2. Take the stairs down near Hewg to find her seated below. Finish her dialogue, then bring The Stormhawk King.

Throne room

Stormveil Castle · Lord of Limgrave

When available: After giving the King and defeating Morgott.

Starting Site of Grace: Godrick the Grafted

  1. Travel to Godrick the Grafted grace after completing the required conversations and defeating Morgott.
  2. Rest at the grace, then walk through the northern doorway into Stormveil’s throne room. If the characters have not moved, finish their remaining dialogue and rest again rather than only selecting fast travel.

Quest steps

Quest steps can include different outcomes. Read the branch, conditions and cutoffs before making a choice.

  1. Speak before Godrick

    Branch: Main quest

    Meet Nepheli in Stormveil and finish her conversation. Her gold summon sign near the boss is optional; the early conversation is what establishes the later charm gift.

  2. Collect Arsenal Charm

    Branch: Main quest

    After Godrick, speak to Gideon at the Hold and then Nepheli outside his study. Take Arsenal Charm before advancing her to the village.

  3. Finish the village stage

    Branch: Main quest

    Talk on the Village of the Albinaurics approach, defeat the Omenkiller and return to the Hold. Speak to Gideon about her, then to Nepheli below Hewg.

  4. Keep the potion away from her

    Branch: Preserve Nepheli

    If you have Seluvis’s Potion, give it to Gideon for disposal to preserve Nepheli’s normal route. You can then report back to Seluvis.

  5. Find The Stormhawk King

    Branch: Main quest

    Use an Imbued Sword Key at the Four Belfries gate marked Precipice of Anticipation. Return to the starting chapel, defeat the Scion if needed and take the open side door upstairs to the outdoor pickup. Stormhawk Deenh in the nearby chest is a different item.

  6. Give her the King

    Branch: Main quest

    Unlock Spirit Tuning through Roderika if the handover is not available, finish Nepheli’s and Gideon’s dialogue, then give Nepheli The Stormhawk King.

  7. Complete the throne scene

    Branch: Main quest

    Finish Kenneth’s fort story for the shared scene and defeat Morgott. Rest at Godrick’s grace and visit the throne room. Speak to Nepheli for an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.

    Progression cutoff: Complete this conclusion before progressing the late capital change to avoid leaving her earlier stages unfinished.

  8. Choose the puppet branch

    Branch: Puppet outcome

    Giving Seluvis’s Potion directly to Nepheli ends her normal quest. Her puppet can later replace the usual puppet reward at Pidia’s end.

    Progression cutoff: The potion handover sacrifices the normal throne-room route.

Notes

  • The Stormhawk King is a quest item and cannot be summoned. Stormhawk Deenh is the separate Spirit Ash found near it.
  • A potion offered by another NPC is not automatically a cure. Check who you are handing it to before confirming.
  • Killing Gostoc removes his extra stone purchase. His shop is not the same reward as Nepheli’s gift.
  • A fast-travel visit alone may not refresh the throne-room scene. Sit at Godrick’s grace after completing the conversations.
  • Once her ruler route is complete, her later summon can be available for the Godfrey battle. Her earlier Godrick and village summon opportunities are separate.
  • Her normal quest and puppet outcome are alternatives. One journey does not provide both versions of her conclusion.
