Reveals the locations of newly-discovered golden crosses.

The crosses are akin to Miquella's footprints. Or gravestones, which mark what he has left behind.

Starting Site of Grace: Highroad Cross

1. After defeating Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, touch the withered arm in Miquella's cocoon at Mohgwyn Palace. Leave the arrival cave and activate Gravesite Plain grace.
2. From Three-Path Cross, follow the eastern road over Ellac Greatbridge to Castle Front. Cross the northeastern bridge into Castle Ensis, passing the Troll Knight at the far end.
3. Follow the path left at the top. Soldiers and dogs wait around the fires and stairway, so draw them out before climbing farther.
4. Continue through the cave beyond the first campfire. Climb the ledges at its far exit, then follow the uphill path past the patrolling Black Knight.
5. At the top is a closed gate with Miquella's Cross beside it. Activate Castle Ensis Checkpoint grace before attempting the detour.
6. With the closed gate ahead, follow the wall to the right to the soldier crouching at the ledge. Drop to the ledge below, then into the hole leading to the flooded cave. Three dogs attack inside.
7. Leave the cave and turn left toward the waterfall. Jump across the rock platforms, continue through the river arch and climb the ladder beside the falling water.
8. Enter the room at the top, watching for an ambush on the left. Cross to the gate mechanism and turn it to open the shortcut back to Checkpoint grace.
9. Climb the stairs and cross the guarded bridge. Continue past the dog ambush and spellcasting nobles to the stairs leading up toward the chapel.
10. Moonrithyll, Carian Knight guards the chapel entrance. Defeat him or move past him carefully; the shield stairs and chapel altar are separate pickups here.
11. Pass through the chapel behind Moonrithyll and continue along the castle's rising main route. Get past the sorcerers and the Black Knight guarding the final lift.
12. Ride that lift to Castle-Lord's Chamber and activate the grace. Defeat Rellana, Twin Moon Knight in the nearby arena, then take the northern exit to Scadu Altus.
13. Follow the path outside to Highroad Cross. Hornsent and Leda meet here before their later Shadow Keep events.
14. Speak to Hornsent and finish his conversation to receive New Cross Map. Do this before pushing on toward Shadow Keep if you want to hear his earlier dialogue.

Notes

• Hornsent's revised sketch marks four more crosses. It is separate from Cross Map and the Scadu Altus terrain fragment.
• This is an Info item you inspect in the inventory. It does not replace a terrain map fragment, reveal every item or unlock a fast-travel destination.
• The drawing is a clue to Miquella's crosses. You can visit those places without owning the sketch. Check each cross separately for its own fragment, message or other pickup.
• Receiving the map does not choose a side in Hornsent's later conflict. Speak to him before advancing the Shadow Keep events if you want his full dialogue.
• Rellana is one way to reach Highroad Cross. The route behind Fort of Reprimand also reaches Scadu Altus; the map itself does not require a reward from Rellana.
• If Hornsent has already left, inspect his former meeting area at Highroad Cross for the maps left behind.
